Hello potential client, I am Miss Kurstin Stowe and I love what I do.

I've been in the industry since October of 2007. I started out as a fresh, high school graduate attending the Gene Juarez Academy down in wonderful...(not so much), Federal Way.

I quickly knew that the black-and-white, super-structured, fancy-schmancy salon wasn't for me. I didn't think I would find the salon I dreamt of being at, or that it even existed. Lucky for me, Gene Juarez had a portfolio show and they invited the unique salon, Helmet Head. The owners stuck out amongst the other salon recruiters, and I knew I had to talk to them. Heather and Sammy strolled by...we chatted, they liked my work, and I thought they were cool...1 week later I was hired.

In November '08 I graduated beauty school and started as the salon's first-ever assistant. I got to take the walk-ins, and I shadowed my co-workers to learn different techniques and stylist secrets. Of course I also did a lot of sweeping, shampooing, and towel folding. But hey, everyones gotta start somewhere, right? My rookie shears are hanging on the wall and I am now an official stylist.

When I'm not in the salon I'm playing soccer or being the pick of girl of Tempting Tarts Burlesque. My stage name is Lil' Twinkie LaMour...but, let's get to know each other when you sit in my chair!
